Stories at your level
Every language and level comes with five ready stories, A1 to C2, and complete beginners start with First Steps: ten very short stories. They're included in the app and work offline.
Hold a word, understand it
Press and hold any word to see it in your native language, translated for the sentence it's in. It's saved to My Words automatically.
Listen and follow along
Natural narration highlights each word as it's spoken, so you hear the language while you read. Included recordings play offline.
Check your understanding
Short quizzes after each story show what you understood. You can translate words in the questions too.
Practise the words you save
Flashcards with spaced repetition bring each word back just before you'd forget it. You can practise in either direction, set daily goals and get optional reminders.
